Lincoln Police are investigating a burglary at the Walgreens at 14th and Superior just after 3:00 this morning. Captain Todd Kocian says the security company was remotely monitoring and reported three people in the store.
“It appears entry was gained through a rear door,” Kocian says. “Security video shows three people, all wearing dark clothing, in the business.” Kocian says two of the people went behind the behind the cash register area and grabbed several nicotine products.
The trio then fled the store. Employees are working to determine the extent of the loss and gathering additional video.
