‘Lincoln Calling’ Music Festival Celebrates 20 Years This Weekend

By Chase Porter May 2, 2024 | 1:30 PM

Downtown Lincoln will teem with jams this weekend across five stages for the 20th annual Lincoln Calling music festival.

Organizers announced the massive line up earlier this week, hosting constant performances from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. both Friday and Saturday, May 3-4, across multiple venues along North 14th Street between “P” and “O” streets.

A trio of well-known downtown venues — Duffy’s Tavern, The Zoo Bar, and 1867 Bar — will host the bulk of performers. A main stage on 14th and P will shut down the block for attendees, who can free roam from vendors to venues.

Your Lincoln Calling ’24 headliners are jazz pianist Cory Henry, Zimbabwean hip-hop artist Tkay Maidza, and alternative band Cherry Glazerr.

Lincoln locals will be out in force also. Musicals acts like Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal, The Wildwoods, Ghostlike, and hip-hop artists HAKIM and Flannel Lewis will be performing.

1-day tickets for Friday or Saturday are $40, and a 2-day pass is $60 with a student discount for $45. Tickets are available at lincolncalling.com/tickets.

The full schedule is available below.

The official street closure advisory — the following streets will be closed from 9 a.m. Thursday, May 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5:

  • 14th Street from “O” to “P” streets
  • “P” Street from 13th Street to Centennial Mall

StarTran Route 55-Downtown Trolley will be detoured during this event. A map is available below.
