Lincoln Police say a Waverly man has been arrested in connection with a deadly crash near 27th and Old Dairy Road in early February. Captain Todd Kocian says 64-year-old Steven Keith was crossing the street when he was struck by a northbound vehicle.

“The investigation ultimately revealed the pedestrian had been struck by two vehicles, one of which failed to remain at the scene following the collision. Kocian says on Tuesday afternoon 41-year-old Michael Hockman turned himself in at the Lancaster County Jail.
He was arrested for failure to stop and render aid. Keith was taken to a Lincoln hospital and later died from his injuries.
