Lincoln’s Cosmic Eye Brewing to Close This Summer

By Chase Porter May 1, 2024 | 4:22 PM

A local Lincoln brewery will close its doors next month.

Cosmic Eye Brewing announced on social media Wednesday morning, their final day of business will be June 1, 2024.

“We came to this difficult but necessary decision as we are completely out of money, time, and resources to continue on,” said the announcement. “Stop in before we’re gone forever,” reads the Cosmic Eye website, ominously.

The craft brewery says they will still kick around pints throughout all their events scheduled in May, and all premade reservations, partys, shows are still on (with the exception of BINGO – which is over). The last day of trivia will be tomorrow, Thursday, April 2.

The store will be trying sell off all their remaining product in the meantime, including beer, merchandise, glassware, etc.

Anyone’s event booked after June 1st will be reached out to directly by Cosmic Eye staff.

“If you have supported us over the years, saying thanks doesn’t even begin to cover it. We’ve met so many amazing people, shared in your lives, and cherish every opportunity that the brewery brought us. We hope that you feel the same and continue to live a most cosmic life,” signed Cosmic Eye staff —  Sam, Michelle, [Owners] and Ollie, with an ‘xoxo.’
