The next round of severe weather is expected to arrive Tuesday afternoon and evening. Very large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes are all possible with the greatest risk during the afternoon/evening commute. Keep a close eye on the forecast and have a plan for severe weather.
Wednesday, severe storms are possible across portions of southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
The highest chance for severe weather will be closer to the Kansas – Nebraska border however there will be the potential for heavy rain and flash flooding much further north through parts of western Iowa and northeastern Nebraska.
