Thunderstorms are expected to move through southeast Nebraska this morning into early afternoon with the potential for 40 to 50 mph wind gusts.  Storms will become more widespread tonight with hail and localized flash flooding possible.

Going into Friday and the weekend the latest National Weather Service briefing indicates stronger storms are likely Friday afternoon and evening and then again late Saturday afternoon into Saturday night.

Hail up to 3 inches in diameter and thunderstorm winds up to 70 mph are possible.  A few tornadoes could develop as well.
