Lincoln Police are investigating after three people reported their vehicles were broken into Friday at the Jamaica North trail parking lot in Wilderness Park. “Three vehicles had been entered and in each instance, the windows of the victim’s vehicle had been shattered to gain entry, says Captain Todd Kocian.
The total damage for all three vehicles was $1,600. There was about $300 worth of items stolen from the vehicles, including clothing, insurance and registration paperwork and an owner’s
manual.
As the weather warms up and more people get outside, Kocian reminds everyone to not keep valuables in their vehicles.
