The Lincoln Municipal Airport has announced their first ever annual Plane Pull fundraiser for non-profit Women in Aviation, set for May 18th on the west ramp at LNK.

If you want to participate, you’ll need to gather a team of five people, tug (via rope) as fast as you can over 30 feet distance. The each fastest team in three separate divisions (women, men and co-ed) will be deemed the inaugural Lincoln plane pulling champions.

“We are incredibly excited to host our first annual Plane Pull event in Lincoln,” said Joy Damian
President of Women in Aviation, Cornhusker Chapter. “This event not only serves as a fun and unique
way to bring the community together but also highlights the importance of women’s involvement and
leadership within the aviation sector.”

In addition to the competition, attendees can enjoy various family-friendly activities, food vendors, and learn more about careers in aviation.

The event is sponsored by the Lincoln Airport, Duncan Aviation and CommuteAir.
