By Chase Porter Apr 10, 2024 | 11:13 AM

Lincoln Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in solving two separate shoplifting cases, part of their caseload of over 200 incidents.

Forensics Video Technician for the Lincoln Police Department Becky Keller shares these two cases to remind the public that their video unit works cases ranging from simple shoplifts to the most serious felonies. The Crime Stoppers program currently has a 51% clearance rate, says Keller, thanking the community for their assistance in helping close many of these cases.

The first case occurred back on November 24th, 2023, at the Walmart located on South 87th Street and Andermatt Drive.

The suspect reportedly shoplifted several haircare products, and when confronted in the entry way, he handed the items back over to staff, but left before police could arrived to speak with him. He drove off in a blue Ford Fusion.

The next case, occurred on December 6th, 2023, at the Walmart near North 84th and Adams Street.

Staff reported a male with a gray and blue baseball cap shoplifting over $260 worth of clothing items. He was seen on security cameras driving a white Nissan 4 door sedan with license plates similar to WHITE PEARL.
