By Tom Stanton Apr 8, 2024 | 12:54 PM

A man is accused of threatening a tow truck driver outside a northwest Lincoln home. Captain Todd Kocian says it happened near NW 6th and W. Salley Street around 3:00 Saturday afternoon. “Officers contacted a 28-year-old tow truck driver who reported he was at the residence to repossess a vehicle when he was confronted by the vehicle’s owner, 49-year-old Demond Flowers.”

The driver told police Flowers pulled a handgun and pointed it at him. “The victim got back in his tow truck and left the scene,” Kocian says.  Officers later arrested Flowers at his home. He was booked for terroristic threats and use of a firearm to commit a felony.

Officers also recovered a 9mm handgun from his home.
