The Lincoln man who engaged in a shootout with law enforcement at a Casey’s gas station was arraigned on Thursday.

Lincoln Police responded to a call at the Casey’s Store on NW 12th Street on Tuesday, finding 45-year-old Michael Glaser armed and searching for a female employee, with whom he had a “domestic related” issue, according to LSO Chief Deputy Ben Houchin. During the standoff, Glaser fired shots at law enforcement, leading to a 30-minute exchange of gunfire. He was shot twice before being apprehended with minor injuries.

KLIN media partner 1011 News reports Glaser is charged with 10 felonies including false imprisonment, terroristic threats, weapon use, unlawful firearm discharge, and resisting arrest with a deadly weapon. A judge set his bond at $1 million.

Court documents revealed that Glaser’s actions stemmed from his ex-girlfriend’s decision to end their relationship, prompting him to confront her at work. Investigators recovered a shotgun from Glaser’s home following his arrest.
