By Chase Porter Mar 29, 2024 | 2:51 PM

A Lincoln man is behind bars after Lincoln Police, in coordination with the LPD SWAT Team members, executed both arrest and search warrants at a home near 54th and Orchard.

Captain Todd Kocian says the operation was related to ongoing investigations into robbery and narcotics crimes. As law enforcement personnel moved in to execute the warrants, 32-year-old Dominique Moody of Lincoln attempted to flee on foot. He was apprehended after a short chase.

Moody faces a litany of charges, including 2 Counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Robbery, 2 Counts of Use of a Firearm to Commit a Felony, 2 Counts of Attempted Robbery, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a School, and Possession of a Firearm While Violating drug statute.

Of particular note are the robbery charges, incidents which KLIN previously reported on Wednesday, March 20.
