The Nebraska Department of Transportation closed I-80 between Lexington and Ogallala overnight due to blizzard conditions. The North Platte area is expecting 4 to 9 inches of snow and winds gusting as high as 55 mph. Some areas are reporting whiteout conditions with the blowing and drifting snow.
Southeast Nebraska is not expected to get much, if any, snow from this system while winds today and tomorrow will be shifting from the SE to the NW by Tuesday with gusts forecast as high as 37 mph.
