Nebraska WBB Season Ends with NCAA Tournament Loss at Oregon State

Nebraska women’s basketball’s season has come to a close.

NU, the No. 6 seed in the region, fell to No. 3 seed Oregon State (26-7) 61-51 in Corvallis Sunday afternoon. The Huskers close the season at 23-12, having made the NCAA Tournament second round.

Nebraska shot 31.3% for the game, including 4-of-20 from 3. Oregon State shot 40.7%, including 10-of-33 from deep.

Jaz Shelley was the only Husker to score in double figures as she finished with 10 points to go with seven assists and six rebounds. Alexis Markowski had eight points and eight rebounds.

The 2023-24 season was the best under coach Amy Williams in Lincoln, with the second most wins of her tenure, a conference championship appearance, and NCAA Tournament win for the first time in a decade.
