Lincoln is preparing to host the ‘ulti-mutt’ dog lovers event this weekend.
The “I Love My Dog” Expo 2024 hosted by Domesti-PUPS, a local non-profit providing service dogs for persons with disabilities, will pack the Sandhill’s Global Event Center this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition to dozens of furry friends, attendees will find pet-related vendors/services, learn more about responsible dog ownership from experienced veterinarians, plus enjoy entertainment, games, and training demonstrations.
The Expo is for dog lovers of all ages and interests. Don’t have a furry friend at home? You are still welcome and may even find a new best friend at the event, with several rescue organizations set to be in attendance.
Standard admission is $10 and children under 10-years-old get in free. Parking is free.
Well-behaved dogs may attend the expo with an adult handler. All dogs must be current on vaccinations including Bordatella. Dogs should be on a short (no longer than 6′) leash. For the safety of young puppies, event organizers ask that you leave them at home.
