Nebraska women’s basketball is back in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2022.
The 22-11 Huskers are into the field as a 6 seed in the Regional 1 in Albany. NU will take on No. 11 seed Texas A&M (19-12) in Corvallis, Oregon.
Former Nebraska athletic director Trev Alberts defected to Texas A&M just last week.
The Huskers-Aggies winner will face the winner of No. 3 seed Oregon State and No. 14 seed Eastern Washington. The region’s other top four seeds are South Carolina (1), Notre Dame (2) and Indiana (4).
