A weekend sweep for Nebraska baseball.
The Huskers (13-5) beat Nicholls (17-6) 11-4 Sunday afternoon at Haymarket Park. The win completes a three game sweep for the Big Red.
Nebraska went with a “Johnny Wholestaff” approach, utilizing five pitchers in the game. None of the Huskers hurlers went more than 2.0 innings, with only Ty Horn facing double digit batters.
Nine Huskers notched hits on the day, with four of them having multi-hit performances.
The homestand continues for Nebraska as Omaha comes to town Tuesday.
