No one was hurt after fire destroyed a trailer home in northwest Lincoln early Wednesday morning. Public Information Officer MJ Lierman says crews responded to the home at 315 Evans Lane just after 1:00 a.m.
Public Information Officer MJ Lierman says when they arrived there was smoke coming from the roof on three sides of the trailer. “Firefighters entered and found a small active fire in the bathroom off the back bedroom which was easily extinguished.”
She says crews used hydraulic ventilation to clear the smoke-filled trailer. The three residents were able to safely evacuate and call 911. A electrical issue sparked the fire. Damage is estimated at 75,000 for the home and 25,000 in contents.
No LFR injuries were reported.
