Lincoln Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in two separate cases, one regarding two offensive publicly intoxicated women and the other regarding vandalism on UNL’s East Campus.
The first case occurred last year, on October 24th, at the U-Stop Convenience Shop on 21st and “K” Street. Video Forensics Technician for the Lincoln Police Department Becky Keller said the victim contacted police after two women at the front of the store spoke to her in a sexually offensive manner.
U-Stop staff told arriving officers they believed the two women to be intoxicated at the time and reported they had smelled like alcohol while they were in the store. Police are asking for the publics assistance in identifying these women.
Security footage photos of the suspects can be viewed below.
Police are also seeking the publics assistance in identifying two ATV drivers responsible for tearing up landscaping on UNL’s East Campus.
UNL Police went to the area of 33rd and Huntington Avenue on back on November 25th, after receiving reports of two ATV’s, one yellow and one dark green, “spinning cookies” on school property.
The ATV vandals caused substantial damage to the turf area they were driving on. UNL police are seeking information that could identify the two individuals that may have been driving them that particular day.
Photos of the suspect on the ATVs can be viewed below.
