Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen has certified which 2024 presidential candidates will appear on the statewide May 14th primary ballot.
The candidates are listed below for their respective party:
Republican Party
- Nikki Haley
- Perry Johnson (by petition)
- Donald J. Trump
Democratic Party
- Joseph R. Biden Jr.
- Dean Phillips
Libertarian Party
- Charles Ballay
- Jacob Hornberger
- Lars Mapstead
- Chase Russell Oliver
- Michael Rectenwald
- Mike ter Maat
Legal Marijuana NOW Party
- No recognized candidates
While no presidential candidates were recognized for the Legal Marijuana NOW Party, interested individuals can petition onto the ballot.
The Nebraska Secretary of State is responsible for placement of candidate names. Candidates can still remove their names from the ballot by March 11th. The last day for partisan candidates for file a petition to be listed is March 14th. By March 22nd, the Secretary of State will certify the statewide primary ballot.
