By Chase Porter Feb 22, 2024 | 2:15 PM

The Lied Center for Performing Arts has debuted their 2024-25 Broadway Season line up, with six fan-favorite performances — and one unannounced mystery show — comprising the Lied’s largest Broadway series in the theatre’s history.

The full season line up feature:

  • “Dear Evan Hansen,” Sept. 27-29 (five performances)
  • “Back to the Future: The Musical,” Oct. 8-13 (eight performances)
  • “Disney’s The Little Mermaid,” Nov. 12-17 (eight performances)
  • Mystery musical to be announced, Feb. 4-16, 2025 (16 performances)
  • “Beetlejuice,” March 4-9, 2025 (eight performances)
  • ADD ON: “Rent in Concert,” Jan. 18, 2025, 7:30 p.m.
  • ADD ON: “Annie,” March 21-22, 2025 (three performances)

The Lied’s Five-show Broadway packages start at $228. Broadway subscribers also get first access to “Annie” and “Rent in Concert” as package add-ons. Season packages include the same seats to five Broadway series shows. Season packages go on sale to the public at 11 a.m. Feb. 27 at liedcenter.org/broadway.

The ‘mystery musical’ will be the third show in the Lied’s history to play for two-weeks, joining ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ and ‘Hamilton’ in the exclusive club. The show will be announced this summer.

“We’ve heard the message loud and clear: Lincoln and Nebraska love Broadway. Last season, more than 33,000 people came to the Lied Center for ‘Hamilton,’ and just a few months later another 15,000 experienced ‘Les Misérables,’ leading a record-shattering year,” said Bill Stephan, the Lied’s executive director. “We’re building on that success with a spectacular new season, including some of the biggest Broadway blockbusters in recent memory. From the Nebraska premiere of the brand new ‘Back to the Future’ to the drop-dead hilarious ‘Beetlejuice,’ from the groundbreaking and moving ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ to a huge new production of the beloved classic ‘The Little Mermaid,’ there’s something for everyone.
