With the release of their first new music in 5 years, indie pop band Vampire Weekend announces a massive 42-stop US tour coming to Lincoln this summer.

The 2 time Grammy award winning group will play Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Lincoln’s Pinewood Bowl Theatre.

This will be Vampire Weekend’s debut show for Lincoln, as they had to cancel their original debut scheduled for September of 2020 due to the COVID pandemic.

Pinewood Bowl General Manager Tim Savona told KLIN News, “We are PUMPED to have them coming back. Obviously last time had to get cancelled due to the circumstances of things at the time. But boy are we glad to have them coming back on July 23. What a special evening this is going to be!”

Their new album Only God Was Above Us will be available April 5th via Columbia Records and will be sold digitally, and physically on CD, standard black vinyl, limited edition clear vinyl on the band’s webstore, and with an alternate album cover available exclusively at Independent retailers. Pre-order the album at vampireweekend.store.
