Lincoln Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the occupants of a vehicle that may have information related to a deadly pedestrian crash last week at 27th and Old Dairy.  LPD Captain Todd Kocian says they are trying to locate what appears to be a silver or white VW Beetle convertible with a black top that was in the area of the crash on February 9.

Kocian says they want to make contact with the people in that car to interview them.  “At this point we don’t have any information to suggest they were directly involved,” Kocian says.  “We would just like to them because they might have information that might help us piece this together.”

64-year-old Steven Keith was crossing the street when he was hit.  He was taken to a Lincoln hospital where he died.  Anyone with information can contact the Lincoln Police Department at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers 402-475-3600.
