The search is on for 47-year-old Jonathan King who was reported missing Friday morning from the Community Corrections Center in Lincoln. The Nebraska Department of Corrections says King left his place of employment and his electronic monitor was found near 84th and O Street.
King started his sentence on January 20, 2009. He was sentenced to 30 to 40 years for two counts of robbery out of Douglas County. He has a parole hearing scheduled this November and a tentative release date of September 7, 2028.
King is 6’ 3” and 300 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone who knows where King is should contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol. CCC-L is one of two community facilities and are the least restrictive.
Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services without direct supervision.
