A traffic stop on I-80 near Wood River Monday evening leads the arrest of a Lincoln man. The Nebraska State Patrol says just before 6:00 a trooper saw a GMC Terrain speeding and pulled it over. During the traffic stop the trooper saw a THC product in plain view.
During a vehicle search troopers found about 11 pounds of marijuana, approximately 3 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms and nearly 300 grams of THC products. A patrol spokesman says the mushrooms and marijuana were concealed in a suitcase in the rear of the vehicle.
28-year-old Avery Wayman was arrested for possession of more than a pound of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into the Hall County Jail.
