A Lincoln man was arrested early Friday morning for burglarizing a Casey’s General Store and stealing several 100 ml “shooter” bottles of liquor.
Around 3:13 a.m. on February 9th, Lincoln Police were notified of an alarm sounding at the Casey’s located on 1001 South 13th Street. LPD Captain Todd Kocian says the arriving officers found the front glass entrance door smashed, and a chunk of concrete lying on the ground.
Surveillance video showed the suspect using said chunk of concrete to breach the store’s entrance, enter, and leave with several shooters.
Within the hour, officers were called to a near by U-Stop gas station on a disturbance, and found 24-year-old Scott Frankson who was identified as the suspect from the incident at Casey’s.
Frankson was arrested for burglary, with damage to the Casey’s estimated at $800 and the total value of the stolen alcohol estimated at $7.17.
