Close to its one-year anniversary, Lincoln’s downtown job center will host a week-long career fair.
The American Job Center, located on 1330 “N” St., is inviting residents seeking new/different employment to attend the “Strike Your Match Weeklong Career Fair” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, February 12 thru Friday, February 16.
Those attending may park for free in the Park & Go garage at 14th and “N” streets and use the elevator. To receive free parking, attendees must check in with a parking validation representative at reception.
“After the success of the two rooftop career fairs in July and October, our Business Services Representative Team have decided to keep the momentum going with a weeklong job fair. We are excited to be adding new employers and adding several days to our job fair,” said Dylan Wren, American Job Center Workforce Administrator.
Each day will feature a specific industry:
- Monday – healthcare
- Tuesday – manufacturing/construction
- Wednesday – food service/custodial jobs
- Thursday – communication/customer service
- Friday – education
Local employers attending the event include Allo, Apace, Better Living Foster Care & Family Service, Capital Care Staffing, City of Lincoln, Home Instead, Instinct Pet Food, Lincoln Electrical JATC, Mosaic, Senior Insurance Marketing, State of Nebraska, Tabitha, Thunderstone Manufacturing, Transportation Security Administration, YMCA of Lincoln, and more.
