Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen joined 14 other Republican Governors and Texas Governor Greg Abbott for a briefing and first-hand look at the immigration crisis at the Southern Border in Eagle Pass, Texas Sunday.

At a Sunday afternoon news conference ( available here ) the Governors all pledged support for Texas efforts to secure the border.

During an on-line news conference with Nebraska media Pillen outlined what he believes to be the biggest threats facing Nebraskans from the flood of illegal immigrants coming into the United States.

Pillen said, “A lot of terrorists.  I think that the number was 169 terrorists were arrested and found.  For the record, the terrorists are the ones that come with the most money from the cartels and escape through so we have no idea how many.”

In addition to terrorists, Pillen listed drugs, sex trafficking, and weapons as threats facing Nebraskans.
