It has been nearly three months since Tyler Goodrich was reported missing from his Lancaster County home.  The sheriff’s department continues to follow up on a number of leads, including one they received at the end of December.

Captain John Vik says an anonymous handwritten letter with no return address was delivered to their office through Crime Stoppers.  He says with a paper letter they have no way of contacting the person who wrote it.  “We’re trying to encourage the person who provided the information to contact Crime Stoppers so we can at least have a dialogue back-and-forth via phone or the online tip program.”

Vik didn’t reveal the details of the letter but says it didn’t provide them with any addition information. “Even if we identify who the person is and have a conversation with them, it may not lead us closer to locating Tyler, but we want to be able to thoroughly investigate it.”

Goodrich was reported missing by his husband following an argument.  He was last seen on video surveillance running from his home.  Vik says in addition to investigating leads, they are also working with family and friends to gain additional information about the case with the ultimate goal of finding Tyler Goodrich.

Anyone who has a tip or any information regarding Goodrich’s disappearance is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.  All calls are anonymous.
