Waverly City Council Member Announces Candidacy for Mayor

President of the Waverly City Council Abbey Pascoe has officially announced her candidacy for the position of Mayor of Waverly in the upcoming 2024 elections.

Pascoe has sat on the Waverly City Council since 2020, served as President for the last two years, until recently lead The Greater Waverly Area Foundation Fund as President, and currently works as a Senior Marketing Manager at Verizon where she’s been employed for 18 years.

“While on the city council, I have worked hard to cultivate a positive public image, focusing on collaboration and getting the best minds in the game,” said Pascoe on her official campaign website.

“With considerable enthusiasm and a profound dedication to our community, I formally declare my candidacy for the position of Mayor for the City of Waverly. Embracing the guiding principle of ‘Community First, Leadership Always,’ I believe in prioritizing Waverly’s future through inclusivity, innovation, and compassion to shape a city that serves everyone,” Pascoe declared during her campaign announcement.
