Lincoln Police say they will be enforcing the City’s street parking ordinance. Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says vehicles that have been parked on one side of a street for more than 24 hours, especially those that have been plowed in by snow, need to be moved.

“LPD will begin issuing warnings to vehicles not in compliance. Those not moved in a timely manner will be issued a parking citation,” Thomas says. Any vehicles that are still not moved will be towed at the owner’s expense.

“As we all dig out of the recent snowfall, please help city crews working to clean the streets by following this law,” Thomas says.
