New Volleyball Coach At Lincoln Southeast

By Tom Stanton Jan 11, 2024 | 3:23 PM

A familiar face will help Lincoln Southeast volleyball athletes dig up plenty of victories on the court next fall.  Abby Fox will be the school’s head volleyball coach in 2024. Fox played high school volleyball at Lincoln Pius X and has been an assistant coach at Southeast the past five seasons.

Fox said she is happy to have an opportunity to guide the team. She is optimistic about the potential for LSE to have many winning moments in 2024 and beyond. “I am thrilled to be taking over as head coach at Southeast,” Fox says. “We have an incredible amount of talent throughout the program. I truly believe in the ability of our athletes and the support of the Southeast community to help take our program to the next level.”

Fox is a Lincoln native and was a senior letter winner for Lincoln Pius X during the team’s state championship season in 2011. The Thunderbolts finished 38-3 and defeated Grand Island Northwest for the Class B title.

Fox said she would like to help Southeast players enjoy those same types of achievements.
