Several weather forecast models are starting to agree that parts of Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa could receive significant snowfall begging late Sunday into late Monday.  National Weather Meteorologist Clint Aegerter told KLIN News it is still too early to forecast at the county level but there is an area, including Lincoln, that has a 50% chance of 6 or more inches of snow with this system.

The early Friday morning projection is available here 1-5-24 NWS AM DssPacket

Aegerter also expects the Lincoln area to receive a light dusting of snow this evening.
