LTU crews have wrapped up work on arterial streets following Sunday’s snowfall. On Tuesday morning crews applied granular salt pre-wet with brine as needed. Arterial street patrols have now been suspended and crews will respond should streets become icy overnight.
Light snow is possible through the afternoon with an additional inch possible. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. Surface temperatures are 35-40 degrees and rising with a forecasted overnight low of 25 degrees.
Drivers should remain alert for slick spots, especially on untreated surfaces.
