With a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 9 pm Christmas night and with mixed precipitation falling as of early Christmas morning, LTU has activated some of its Winter Operations crews.
Granular salt pre-wet with brine is being applied to arterial streets and bridges. Streets are wet with icy spots and will continue to be slick, especially on untreated surfaces.
