The world’s most popular musical is set to return to Lincoln for the first time in more than 20 years. The epic Les Miserables will be coming to the Lied Center for Performing Arts for eight shows from January 9-14.

Communications Director Lauren Silverman Durban tells KLIN News this beloved musical holds a special place in Lincoln history. “It was the very first major Broadway musical that came to Lincoln when the Lied Center opened back in 1990.”

She says ticket sales are going well and there is a lot of anticipation with the return of Les Miz.  “It has been touring for decades, it has been on Broadway for decades, major stars have come out of it and the music itself is the star of the show.”

Tickets are available at liedcenter.org or by calling  (402) 472-4747.   You can also get them at the Lied Center box office.
