If you are looking to add a pet to your family, the Capital Humane Society will be running their “Home for the Holiday’s” adoption promotion from December 19 through New Year’s Eve. Adoption fees for all animals will be reduced by 50 percent at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center.
This includes dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and all small critters like guinea pigs and rabbits. License and rabies fees may apply for cat and dog adoptions.
Hours at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center are:
Tuesday-Friday – 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
Saturday – 12-5 p.m.
Christmas Eve – 12-4 p.m.
Christmas Day – Closed
New Year’s Eve – 12-4 p.m.
