There were no serious injuries after a two vehicle crash near 11th and Manatt around 8:00 Friday morning. Battalion Chief Mark Majors says one of the vehicles rolled onto it’s side and a wooden power pole was broken in two places.
He says there were a total of six people involved in the collision. “We had one person still stuck in one of the vehicles and they had to extricate one person.” He says one person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Majors says a wooden power pole broke in two different places, which posed a bit of a hazard for crews. Lincoln Police are investigating the crash and Lincoln Electrical Services crews are working to repair the pole.
