The Seward County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly crash that happened just before 4:00 Monday afternoon just north of I-80 at the Milford exit. Investigators say a westbound 2014 Toyota Sienna was on the off ramp and failed to yield to oncoming traffic.
The van struck a 2002 Chevy Silverado that was southbound on 238th Road. A passenger in the van died at the scene. The driver was taken to a Lincoln hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The pickup driver was treated and released at the scene. The name of the person killed has not been released. The Seward County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol are investigating the crash.
