A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa. The advisory will expire at 3 AM tomorrow morning.

In Lincoln as of early Saturday afternoon crews are applying granular salt pre-wet with brine to bridges, overpasses, and trouble spots.
Streets range from wet to partially snow-covered. Pavement temperatures are steadily rising however, elevated roadways are becoming completely snow-covered and slick. Drivers should watch for slick spots, especially on untreated surfaces.
