In a Thursday morning news release, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office identified 34-year-old Cecilia M. Perez of Omaha Nebraska as the homicide victim found Monday afternoon in Northeastern Lancaster County near 98th Street and Havelock Avenue.
An autopsy was performed on November 22nd on the remains with the cause of death classified as a homicide.
The investigation has been turned over to the Omaha Police Department. The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office will continue to assist the Omaha Police Department with the investigation.
