The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says a 62-year-old man who was found with gunshot wounds in his home near Pawnee Lake last Friday has died. Chief Deputy Ben Houchin says Robert Boshart was taken to the hospital after deputies found him wounded alongside his wife near NW 98th and West Adams. He died Monday night and an autopsy has been scheduled.
Houchin says an autopsy showed 62-year-old Joann Boshart died from a gunshot wound to the head. Her sister called for LSO to do a welfare check after she didn’t show up for her school bus driving job for Malcolm Public Schools.
Houchin says video evidence shows they were the only two in the home at the time of the shooting and a gun was recovered from the scene.
