A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that damaged a house near 24th and Holdrege on October 21. Captain Todd Kocian says around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon members of the LPD Gang Unit and Fugitive Task Force arrested Talon Dennis near 56th and Benton as part of their ongoing investigation.
Dennis was booked for unlawful discharge of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Police found a shell casing outside the house, but the gun used in the incident has not been recovered.
LPD says the owner of the house came home and found a bullet hole in the drywall. The round had been fired through a front window as four people were sleeping. No one was injured.
