NWS Forecast

The National Weather Service forecasts a hard freeze across southeast Nebraska Friday night with lows possibly dipping down into the upper 20s and Saturday night possibly into the mid 20s.

Snow and mixed winter precipitation is expected Saturday especially north of I-80.

The highest potential for travel impacts looks to be in northeast Nebraska Saturday afternoon and evening where accumulating snow is most likely.

A mix of rain and snow could develop Saturday afternoon across areas south of I-80 and continue overnight into Sunday morning. Light snow accumulations are possible across southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa by Sunday morning.
