Lincoln Police are looking for suspects after a pair of fast-food restaurant burglaries. Captain Todd Kocian they were first called to Taco Bell near 73rd and Pine Lake Road around 2:40 Tuesday morning.
When officers responded to an alarm they discovered the drive-through window had been shattered, Kocian says. “An employee arrived a short time later and did not report anything missing.” Damage to the window is estimated at $1,000.
Police were then called to Burger King near 38th and Old Cheney by an employee who found the drive-thru window shattered. Kocian says someone got inside the business and forced open a night drop box. An unknown amount of money was taken.
