The Lincoln Salvation Army’s Tree of Lights Kettle Kick Off will be held November 10th at a new location. Captain Kelsey Moreno is the Commanding Officer for The Salvation Army of Lincoln and says the event will be hosted at The Salvation Army located at 2625 Potter Street from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
“This event is a fun packed free family evening event featuring Santa, live music, activities, refreshments and a new Christmas Carol sing-along. A Salvation Army brass ensemble will also be providing special Christmas music,” Moreno says.
The Tree of Lights Campaign Goal for 2023 is $670,000.00. “Many families are finding it hard to make ends meet with the rising costs of things like groceries. Every day people are walking through our doors looking for a bit of hope. We’re helping more families this year than ever before,” Moreno says.
