Lincoln Police were called to investigate after gunshots rang out in a north Lincoln neighborhood on Friday. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says nine shots were heard on 32nd Street between North View Drive and North Hill Road.
“Arriving officers located two vehicles damaged by gunfire, a 2020 Chevy Express Van and a 2009 Saturn Vue,” Vollmer says. The van had a punctured tire and the Saturn had damage to the front passenger side quarter panel.
Vollmer says officers found five spent 9mm casings at the scene. He says it’s not known if the vehicle were targeted.
