Lincoln Police are searching for suspects after three work utility trucks were broken into near 87th and Nebraska Parkway early Sunday morning. Public Information Manager Erica Thomas says two of the trucks were parked at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites and the other one next door at the AmericInn.
“An employee for the company reported that the locked side toolboxes on the trucks had been pried open and damaged, along with hose equipment on the trucks.” The damage is estimated at $2,500.
Thomas says about $8,000 worth of tools were stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
