Lincoln Police are searching for suspects after the Casey’s near SW 6th and West ‘A’ Street was robbed around 4:30 Sunday morning. LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says an employee told officers a man came into the store and removed a display of shooter-sized alcohol bottles.
“The employee followed the suspect from the store and was confronted by an additional 4-5 males waiting in a nearby vehicle,” Thomas says. “The clerk described being punched and knocked to the ground before going back into the store.”
