A Wednesday evening arrest has resulted in the seizure of a considerable amount of narcotics and multiple firearms.
Narcotics Taskforce members were engaged in an ongoing investigation when they encountered 33-year-old Waltrivelish Watson in the parking lot of the southeast Lincoln Walmart located at 8700 Andermatt Drive.
Watson was in possession of 5 grams of suspected cocaine and had $823 in cash inside his vehicle. This discovery prompted the issuance of a search warrant for Watson’s residence in Lincoln. In his home, investigators uncovered a semiautomatic rifle, a .40 caliber handgun, 39.9 grams of suspected cocaine, half a pound of marijuana, and an additional $844 in cash.
Watson has previous felony convictions, prohibiting him from owning firearms. He was taken into custody and cited for possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, 2-counts of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, 2-counts of possession of a firearm with a felony drug violation, and possession of money with intent to distribute narcotics.
